Who was Dag Hammarskjöld?
Secretary-General of the United Nations and a quiet worker for peace, he led a public life under strain while keeping a spiritual journal no one knew of during his lifetime. Killed in a plane crash on a peace mission in Africa, he left in those pages the record of a long inner yes to God.
