Who was Hanna Chrzanowska?
A Polish nurse of Kraków, a pioneer of home care under the communist regime. Ill herself, she formed generations of nurses to see in every patient a person to honour, body and soul. A friend of the future John Paul II, she rallied parishes and volunteers around the most isolated.
