Who was Colette de Corbie?
The daughter of a carpenter of Corbie, in Picardy, orphaned, she lived at first as a recluse. Called to reform the order of Saint Clare, she travelled through France and Savoy, founding or renewing dozens of monasteries in poverty and silence, turned toward the Passion of Christ.
