George Müller
1805-1898 19th century
The concrete trust that places each need into God's hands and waits, with the books open.
Who was George Müller?
A dissolute young Prussian who was converted, he settled in Bristol and opened homes that would take in more than ten thousand orphans. On principle he never asked anyone for money: he kept a meticulous journal of his prayers and the answers received, as a patient demonstration that God provides.
In their own words
I saw more clearly than ever that the first great and primary business to which I ought to attend every day was, to have my soul happy in the Lord.
