The Gospel given back to the poor as a dignity, and prayer that becomes concrete solidarity.

Who was Rutilio Grande?

A Salvadoran Jesuit from a poor family, he gave the Gospel back to the peasants of his region, reminding them of their dignity as children of God before the great landowners. His murder, with an old man and a child who were with him, shook his friend Archbishop Romero. He was beatified in 2022.
