Who was Sandra Sabattini?
An Italian medical student, engaged to be married, she lived an ordinary and joyful youth, committed to people with disabilities and addictions in the Pope John XXIII Community. From childhood she kept a diary in which her prayer became conversation with God. Struck by a car at twenty-two, she was the first engaged woman to be declared blessed.
