Who was Jean Tauler?
A Dominican of Strasbourg, a preacher in the time of the great trials of plague and division. A disciple of the Rhineland mystical school, he taught to seek God in the depths of the soul, in detachment and silence. His sermons have nourished generations of those who pray.
