Who was Laura Vicuña?
A Chilean girl who fled to Argentina with her widowed mother, she was raised by the Salesian sisters, where she learned to pray and to love the Eucharist. Seeing her mother in a union that wounded her, she secretly offered her life for her conversion. She died at twelve, after telling her mother the meaning of that offering.
