Who was Maria Gabriella Sagheddu?

A Sardinian shepherdess of blunt temperament, she entered a Trappist convent near Rome and offered her life for the unity of Christians after hearing the call to pray for it. She died of tuberculosis in fifteen months, at twenty-five.
