Who was Oswald Chambers?
A Scot trained in fine art before theology, an itinerant preacher, he became chaplain to British troops in Egypt during the Great War and died there at forty-three. His talks, transcribed by his wife Biddy, became the daily book My Utmost for His Highest, read the world over.
