Who was Véronique Giuliani?
A Capuchin Poor Clare of Città di Castello, she lived fifty years of hidden life in the monastery, marked by an intense mystical experience she would rather have kept silent. Out of obedience to her confessors, she recorded everything in a diary spanning forty years and twenty-two thousand pages. Beneath the extraordinary graces lay a very ordinary life as cook, infirmarian, and novice mistress.
